We don’t sell or buy anything either. Trading takes place exclusively between seller and buyer. We therefore bear no responsibility and liability in this trade between buyer and seller. Users are responsible for the information and classified ads they publish on our Internet platform. We also do not review classified ads. However, we remove classified ads that are reported to us. By posting a classified ad on chahiybhetayo.com, the user agrees to our posting rules and the terms of service/use.

Recommendations for safe buying and selling: 

You should carefully review the description, photos, etc. of each classified ad. Do not blindly trust and if in doubt, ask the classified ad creator for more details. Also, find out about scams and fraud online to make sure you don’t fall for a scammer.

• Be careful of sellers who ask for a deposit. Never make a down payment for an item, flat rate, job, etc.
• Also, do not fill out any online forms that e.g. assure you of the item, apartment, job, visa, etc.
• Do not trust very low prices compared to the normal retail price. This could be stolen goods. If in doubt, ask for the bill, etc. It could also be a cheap plagiarism or defective product.

Contacting the seller:

It is best to always contact the seller first using the “Email to Seller” button on the advertisement page for the respective item on chahiybhetayo.com. If it is a reported account, we can block the email address and the account immediately so that you do not come into contact with a reported account.

It’s best to meet in public places. Always take a friend and phone with you, and let your relatives or friends know whom and where you meet the seller.

In particular, you should not pay cash for high-priced products, but use one of the trusted payment services in Nepal such as eSEWA, Khalti, IME Pay, etc. If everything is ok with the item, then you can also use bank transfer. Be sure to get a verified phone number from the seller and, if in doubt, the seller should present ID documents and a citizenship card if available.
